Canby Cougars at the County Tournament

Last weekend, Ryan and Ryley's baseball team went to the County Tournament that was held in Milwaukie, Oregon!!! Below are many photos that we took during the weekend. Tori and I both had cameras, but Tori took the majority of the photos and ALL of the videos for the weekend.

Starbucks was a must that morning....Tori felt it was important to take a photo of our beverages.

While we were at the party a HUGE thunderstorm hit. Several of us had just headed across the property to the barn to see the horses and pony. We ended up standing under a HUGE old growth oak tree while it poured. When we came back we found many of the boys in the hot tub having a blast during the storm. Ryan is in the back right corner.

What a weekend!

The twins' baseball team made it into the county tournament. My parents came up and our weekend was long and hot while we watched the boys play ball! Our first game was Saturday morning, and we lost. Our second game we started in the late afternoon and won!
Sunday we were back at the fields bright and early for a 10am game. After going into double inning overtime, we won the game in 90 degree heat. The boys were thrilled with the win, but had to play their next game 30 minutes later. We lost our final game on Sunday which put the team in 5th place in the county tournament. On Monday evening we have a play off game at 8pm, and if they win, they will compete at the State Tournament this coming weekend.

Tonight's baseball game

Tonight the twins had a baseball game vs. Wilsonville! We've played them twice before and you couldn't ask for a better team to compete with. They show great sportsmanship on the field and are a great group of boys and coaches. The first time we played them at a tournament they won. The next time was at a league game and our team won. It seems fitting that tonights game ended in a tie.
Tori and Sarah having fun during the game!
As luck would have it, Ryan took a turn taking a ball to the face this time. He was playing second base and when the ball was hit it took a hop and went straight to his mouth. Tonight he has a huge fat lip and a tooth that is a little loose!
