Memorial day weekend

First and foremost this Memorial Day weekend, we want to thank all of our past and present soldiers for all you have done for our country and the sacrifices you have made.  We appreciate you!!!!

There was a radio ad that announced that they were having auditions for kids if they wanted to be on "The Disney Channel" and Tori was so excited we had to call and set up an appointment.  We took the photo of Tori before her "audition".  Unfortunately the "audition" was actually more like a timeshare meeting and for those that could afford to pay $3000 by Monday, their kid and an adult could go to "the" event at Disney World in Florida with an opportunity to meet casting agents in December.  We passed on the AMAZING opportunity, but Tori did great memorizing her commercial for "Gabby Jeans" and performing it on camera.

On Sunday  evening, Matt, Tori and I went to Cirque Dreams Illumination at Keller Auditorium in Portland.  Fooled by the "Cirque" we thought it was going to be a Cirque Du Soleil show, unfortunately we were disappointed.  The first half was okay, the second half, I was using the "flashlight application" on my iphone to see how much longer we had to sit through boring acts that were less than entertaining.

We spent Monday afternoon with friends at a BBQ and had a great time... lots of great food, dad's vs. kids baseball game and I believe there was  a poker game using Barbie money amongst the teen boys at one point.  Needless to say, I forgot to take pictures...but we certainly had a wonderful Memorial Day!!!
