Cave B Inn

Matt and I took a trip to Cave B Inn at Sagecliff in Quincy, Washington. Subaru was hosting a conference there, and Matt asked his mom to come and watch the kids so I could join him at the Inn. (Thank you Lorna!!!!)

We arrived Thursday and spent the evening admiring the beautiful view of the Columbia River Gorge. Friday Matt left for his conference and I spent 4 hours at the spa. That evening Matt did some wine tasting (discovering he likes Riesling -- and nothing Red). We then went to Tedrils restaurant for dinner. The food there was FABULOUS!

We left bright and early Saturday morning to head back home (about a 4 1/2 hour drive).

Picture we took of our room. They have floor to ceiling windows that overlook the gorge. Sitting out on the patio you hear nothing but silence!
Here's a picture of the bathroom. All of the floors were travertine...gorgeous! (Sorry, I can't figure out how to flip the picture correctly!)
Another picture of our room. They had a huge sunken tub and you could look out at the gorge!
This picture was taken from our patio. The Columbia river is in the distance! I was told when leaving the spa the first "snake of the season" (rattlesnake) was spotted down by the river. Yikes!
