Upon our arrival we were greeted with "Well,
Tishendorf family, I see you now require 2 cars to collect your Christmas tree!" (The owner of the tree farm works at the kids' elementary school and knows our family through the school.) We took Matt's car because there is nothing to tie the tree to on "the bus" and I followed behind with the kids that wouldn't fit in his Subaru!
Sarah took her annual pony ride on sweet "Fiona". She is a rescue pony and around 20 years old.
Sweet Sarah
My beautiful Tori!
Ryan --- "Go Ducks!!!!!"
Heading down to the hill in search of the perfect tree!
Brandon and Ryley on the look out!
This one was our first option....but not our last!
Matt taking photos!
Brandon as our guide!
I love that smile!!!
My handsome hubby!
Tyler (aka Noodle)
See that smile?? He must be thinking about the DUCKS!!!!!!
Playing in the trees
Our final tree choice!
Ryley sawing away!
"Phew!" Could have killed him moving that saw back and forth.
"The Noodle" sawing
Brandon went for the belly method
Tori taking her turn (she lost an
earring while under there but Matt recovered it on his turn)
The first year that the kids were in charge of carrying the tree up the hill and to the car!
Are those kids great or what????
Almost there!
The tree swallowing Tori!
We made a pit stop on the way home when the tree decided to slide off to one side of the car!
Sweet Sarah's curls are nearly gone. We are going to miss them!
Matt started our tree trimming off by placing the angel on top of the tree!
The kids decorated the entire tree themselves (aside from the angel and lights). Doesn't it look great?????
Our stockings are hung and are ready for Santa!!!!
