"Thank you Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Mike for the gift certificates to Build-A-Bear! I had so much fun making my new puppy and dressing her up today!" Love, Sarah

Ripstik is the newest craze at our house!
The latest craze in our town is the Ripstik. If you aren't familiar with one, it is like a skateboard, however it only has 2 wheels that toggle, and to ride it you must first learn to balance on it, and then twist your lower body back and forth to create a wave motion to keep the board moving. Brandon took a "wave boarding" class last week at school, so of course, the boys decided they wanted to all chip in to buy this latest "hot item". Matt and I spent quite some time today trying to learn to ride it, but you will see, there is no video of us! Not a pretty sight!
You can find out more information about them at http://www.ripstikusa.com/, then click on the "how to ride" link.

The Sun Came Out Today!
The sun came out today for the ENTIRE DAY!!!! It has been months since we have had anything but a few hour sun break so we took full advantage of it! Ryan rode his bike to school, while Tori chose to Rollerblade there. Sarah and I spent 3 1/2 hours at the neighborhood park visiting with all our friends that we haven't seen forever due to the cloudy skies and the rain.
After school we took advantage of the 74 degree weather and played in the sprinklers! If only we had this kind of weather for a week straight in the Spring!

My cousin Mary's baby shower!
This morning my mom, Tori, and I went to my cousin Mary's baby shower! In just a few short weeks she will be having a baby girl!!!! The shower was held at my Aunt Linda's home (which I must add, is decorated so well, it could be an interior design show room! Or a home featured in a traditional home magazine! Simply Gorgeous!!!!!). Below are a few photos Tori took at the shower.
Mary's gifts!
Mary on the right (can barely see her baby belly in this picture), however you can see one of the fancy little cupcakes that was served in her hand (click on the photo to enlarge it!). We forgot to get a photo of all the wonderful food they served for brunch!
Mary with a quilt that was made by a family friend!
The baby is going to be the best dressed gal around!

Brandon's blog
Brandon has been asking to have his own blog for a few months now, and I've been putting it off. Then the school newsletter came home suggesting middle school students be allowed to have a blog to keep up with their writing skills. So, he started his blog today! You can check it out at http://thedoctorbrandonshow.blogspot.com/. I have him listed under the family and friends link on the lower left as well!
